The Sir Arthur Lewis Centenary Lecture - 23 November 2015
BFUWI and the Ramphal Institute, King's College, are pleased to announce a lecture by Sir Hilary Beckles, Vice Chancellor of the University of the West Indies to mark the centenary of the birth of Sir Arthur Lewis. Sir Arthur was a distinguished son of the Caribbean who was born in Saint Lucia in 1915. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for economics in 1979 and had a long and distinguished career which included serving as Vice Chancellor of the University of the West Indies.
